General Information
Absolute Poker is one of the largest operations open to US-players, and can also be seen advertised frequently on TV. The poker room offers a good combination of rakeback, frequent bonuses and a variety of games. By tradition, Absolute Poker takes very seriously on suggestions given by customers. The games spread are Hold'em, Stud, Omaha in the typical variations limit, pot limit and no limit - all having good traffic.

Cash Games
We define these as "really good"! However, this is more applicable to Limit than any other game. The No-limit tables are often softer on other sites open to US-players, but with an Absolute rakeback deal you can more than make up for the lost win-rate. The most flooded tables are as always the Hold'em NL tables with blinds up to $2/$4.

Tournaments
Absolute Poker has great guaranteed prize pools. The biggest tournament is the weekly "Super Saturday" with a promised $250000 prize pool, and of course there are satellites run for this one all weekdays. Other good tournaments include the "Absolute Poker Dream Package" which is a satellite to several televised events for a full year, such as the WPT and WSOP. Tournament fees are included in your AP rakeback deal.

Software
This poker room has very frequent upgrades of their software - adding new options and making navigation easier. The Absolute Poker client is compatible with many tracking programs such as Hold'em Manager and Poker Tracker. The multi-table capabilites are good and tables can now be resized. There are also options for 4-color deck, instant replay of latest hands and more. Unfortunately there are no buttons for "Bet Pot", but pot size and bet amounts are shown on the table.
